Frequently Asked Questions

My teacher gave me an invite link but it just returns an error. What am I doing wrong?

The invite link will only work after you've created and verified your account. Please follow these steps in order:

  1. Go to the account creation URL at https://practicingnowapp.com/register and create an account
  2. Work through the next page to verify your email by going to your inbox and clicking the verification link
  3. After clicking the link in your email, refresh the verification status page
  4. Once verified, copy-paste the invite link from your teacher into your browser - you should get a success message
  5. Download the mobile app onto your phone and log in with your credentials

How do I download the mobile app?

The Practicing Now mobile app is available for both iOS and Android devices. After creating and verifying your account on the web:

  • iOS users: Search for "Practicing Now" in the App Store and download the app
  • Android users: Search for "Practicing Now" in the Google Play Store and download the app
  • Log in with the same email and password you used when creating your account on the web

I didn't receive my email verification link. What should I do?

If you haven't received your verification email within a few minutes:

  • Check your spam or junk folder - the email might have been filtered
  • Make sure you entered the correct email address when signing up
  • Look for the "Resend verification email" button on the verification page
  • If you still don't receive it, please contact support at jonathan@renew-it.us

How do I track my practice sessions?

Once you're logged into the mobile app and connected with your teacher:

  • The leftmost tab in the app is called "Calendar" and it is for logging practice hours
  • Click on the date when you practiced (defaults to the current date) and hit the button on the top right corner, "Add Log"
  • Enter all the relevant details about your practice session and hit the "Save" button
  • Your teacher will be able to see your practice history and provide feedback
